  3. I shop at the Home Depot on Milwaukee Street in Boise. I was looking for a very fine steel wool. After asking two employees who sent me in opposite directions but not to the correct aisle, I stopped at customer service and spoke to Robert E. He showed me the correct aisle and bay , and was so friendly and kind. It was a pleasure talking with him.

Went to Rochester hills mi.store 2727 to buy a new lock for front door,was told by department rep.he did not know how to do the rekey and to come back that evening. it was 10:30 am not very good service. Thank goodness cindy the cashier at the contractor end of the store ask Daniel the representative at the contractor’s desk and she was very happy to rekey my newly purchased locks.That’s the kind of service I should have gotten from the gentleman working in the hardware dept.

  5. I went to Home Depot on March 29th st 4611 South Cooper Street in Arlington Texas at around 6:30 pm. I needed to get a metal fencing pole, a 50 pound bage of concrete and the brackets to fasten the pole to the fence. first of all the concrete and the pole was too heavy to carry. In addition to that, I could not find the brackets.
    The biggest disadvantage of all is being an older female that knows NOTHING about a store that caters to contractors.
    I walked around for a while and grew tired. I asked a female associate what did I need to do to get help.
    she connected me with a young man by the name of Erick Reyes. He was such a gentleman. He went to get All the things I needed and had a very caring disposition. He treated me as if I was his grandmother. He had a caring tone in his voice as he was very sympathetic to my plight.
    I really made me feel good. He went to my truck and loaded it for me. Home Depot is oftentimes so busy and it’s easy to get overlooked in there.

  7. I had a problem with an online order.I went to the Salem store. I spoke with customer service representative Loriann she saw my problem and put me in touch with her manager John. John was on the phone for about an hour taking care of the problem. I felt that Loriann and John went above and beyond to help me.

  8. I stopped at the Lancaster, Texas store 500 N I-35, on 03/06/23@4:52pm. Experienced a 0 out of 5 service survey. A young Lady named SANIYAH was at the check out counter in the Lawn and Garden dept. I purchased 2 different lawn products, with 1 marked down $5.00 clearly on the signage. She computer scanned the product which still had the old price in the system. This was not a cash transaction, and there was no one in line behind me. I asked if she could look at the end cap 20 feet from her register. She declined to do so saying that I would need to go to customer service for the difference. She made no attempt to even verify the price change. I do not feel that the Home Deport Corp. support that kind of employee. I went to customer service, where the refund was granted by YOLANDA, who was very helpful, and apologetic for the inconvenience. Yolanda deserved a 5 of 5 service survey! Due to time constraints, I could not wait to speak to the manager.

  14. I recently completed a customer service survey of Home Depot which, when completed, offered numerous products you could buy, or so I thought, just by paying for the shipping. Sounded good until I got my credit card statement with the full price of the product on it. In my case it was choosing a “tactical pen” for $59.95, when I thought I only had to pay for shipping. When I called the phone # shown on my statement, customer service for Tactical Pen said I had not read all the terms and conditions, whatever they were. I cannot find the survey again to figure out what in the world it said, but if you are filling out surveys that have a purported award or “good deal” on something – please be aware!!

When I walked in the store I was surprised to see a very familiar face Someone who I was very familiar with at the regency home depot always smiling always encouraging always willing to help. I could not believe my eyes really. It was miss Lisa. Of regency squar home depot She was wearing a mask, and thought no one will recognized her. I walked up to her and said what are you doing over here why did you leave us she was stunned she didn’t know what to say I can tell that she was smiling under that mask . And we had a wonderful conversation.   18. I just did a Home Depot survey earlier today. Answer the questions, pick a free gift and just pay shipping. In retrospect I think it might have been a scam I gave the $9.99 shipping but did not recieve a conformation E-mail. Can you shed any light on this?

    1. I did the same thing, I wish I knew if it was a scam or not, I am thinking about contacting my bank to cancel payment of the shipping.

  19. I want to commend a wonderful employee at the Canon City, Co Home Depot.
    Liz was very helpful when I went in to purchase some outdoor furniture. I went looking for help and Liz dropped what she was doing and helped me load furniture on a roll cart.
    She helped me load it into my vehicle which I could not do by myself!
    She was so helpful. She is a dedicated employee and I want to thank her as I was ready to leave the store as I couldn’t find anyone to help. Thank you,Liz!

    I chose three, and because my ultimate amount was larger than the prize amount paid an additional fee.
    One item, the Rize Smart Watch will not charge. Obviously the battery is beyond taking a charge or some other issue. Since I paid for it, the question is….Who do I contact to get a replacement item?

  23. Jessica is an awesome sales person. She went out of her way to help us find the right perennial flowers. If she didn’t know the answer to our question she went out of her way to help us find the answer. I will always shop at Home Depot as long as she’s employed there. She has outstanding customer service representation. I can’t say enough good things about her and I don’t know her personally. She makes shopping at Home Depot enjoyable.

  26. I was shopping at the Home Depot in Oxford, Mass today with a problem for which I could not determine a solution. Fortunately I was able to find Abdul who took me to several different parts of the Home depot to work out a combination of items which very nicely provided a workable solution to my problem. I was very grateful for his patient approach to my quandry and his knowledge of the store. I will certainly search out Abdul the next time I need help at the Oxford Home Depot.

  27. When I was at the Logansport, In. Home Depot on March 7th I was shockingly happy. The gentleman named Stephen was a Navy veteran and was the most pleasant person to deal with. He made my ordering of the new windows for my home great. He took time to explain All my options, time frames for products and made some suggestion for things I had not even thought of. Over all I would give him a 10 plus for his help and caring attitude as well. He was a gift for me, and appeared to enjoy his job. Quiet an assest for this store I would say.

  29. I am totally disgusted with Home Depot! I purchased my refrigerator on December 27, 2020 but it didn’t get to my house until January 26, 2021!!!! They didn’t even call me the night before the delivery! I was still in bed when they told me they were 30 minutes away! The guys were really nice though and I got most of the stuff ready for them.

  30. I received outstanding support today from Ellen Gibson in the carpet department of the Blue Ridge, GA location. I needed to order several different lengths of stairway carpet runners and when attempting on-line, rather than indicating each individual piece as I put into the on-line order, the on-line function continually added each length request leaving me with one (1) piece of runner 69 ft long, versus 5 individual pieces of varying length. Ellen was most helpful in getting my order into the system correctly.

  32. My wife and I obtained a Project Card to under take a major home improvement. We started to use Lowes but was upset in dealing with them. I am a disabled Nam vet who used the 10% discount. However the Lowes company went from just wanting to see my VA ID card to phone number when purchasing items, Most recently they have wanted my DD 214 to be on file with Lowes. I believe this is a invasion of my personal information.
    I have used both Home Depot and Lowes over the years and have found Home Depot more friendly and gives better service, Today we made the first of several purchase .the cashier Alice was just GREAT talked to the department head in flooring. They in turned made arrangement to load up a pallet of flooring in our truck.

    Survey request shopping practices at Home Depot. Answer 16 questions and a gift will be sent valued at $100. Option I chose was a watch. Image provided for the watch had a rugged appearance. While working I always scratch the face of the watch. This was a great solution. Since I do shop at Home Depot it was a great survey to put 10 minutes effort into.
    I received my gift – a watch that was not even close to what was being offered. Value at $5! not even usable.

    WARNING don’t trust HOME DEPOT. I don’t understand why Home Depot would do a bait & switch scam. Especially when asking for a customers input.

    2. I ALMOST got taken by these scammers also. The only thing that saved me was….after I submitted CC info for shipping, I got a pop-up message that said I was “BLACKBALLED”…so I started investigating…. Read their “TERMS and CONDITIONS” !! Basically it says that if you pay for shipping, you agree to pay more dollars in a couple of weeks. Quite the scam.

      The scam is through a company that handles all these type surveys. Their phone # is
      US: +8554272508. If you call them, do NOT wait on hold !!! Use the call back option. they called me back after 4 hours !!! I hope you got your money back!!!!

        When I E-mailed them they said by clicking on “Place Order” I agreed to $49.99/month for some Factory Direct Savings store membership. I will attempt to cancel membership. I’ve already disputed the charge. Definite SCAM. I hope that Home Depot does not condone the actions of these clowns.

    I have to talk about Richie at the HD store in Johnson City TN I called the store needing a certain item that I couldn’t find online nor near me and he searched online and in his store and couldn’t find in the computer we were about to hang up and he asked if he could put me on hold and he went and looked in the store and there it was! Most reps would have said sorry we don’t have that! I was amazed this young guy was that concerned that I found what I needed without having to travel to get it he didn’t have to do that ! NOW THAT IS CS! Also Cody helped me (so accommodating) when I got there I am just amazed! Everyone so nice and eager to help!! Looking forward to next visit! Lowes Take Notice!!!
