Unlike many of the other areas on my maps, there isn’t an aza named for Eef. Instead, I’ve named this area for the popular beach that stretches more than two kilometers along Kume’s coast. This area has become one of the main tourist areas due to the many hotels and eating establishments close to the beach.
Sights to See
Eef is a long stretch of white sand beach protected by outlying coral reef, yet far enough away for surfing and other marine sports.
The Nakazato ground is a large sports area and with adjoining baseball field. It is the home of many town events and practice area for the Rakuten Eagles Spring Camp.
Places to Stay
Eef Beach Hotel is located right on the beach with resort-class restaurant and rooms. You’ll find it between the entrance to Eef Beach and the Nakazato Ground.
Equitable to a buisness hotel, Marine Terrace offers an affordable alternative in a great location. With a great restaurant and marine shop its a few steps form the entrance to Eef Beach
Kume Island is a sprawling resort hotel within easy walking distance from Eef Beach. This high-end resort offers many services and a variety of rooms.
